After several months without activity, most one would expect is for me to come out and announce some incredible new map im working on, right?

Nah get bent, have some bread instead

Lemerks cooking? More likely than you think. For a while i've had a bit of a, fear? Dunno if that would be the right word or not. But what i feared was that when i finally exited my parents house, that i would leave knowing how to do nothing at all, no cleaning, no cooking, no nothing. Thats something that im still somewhat worried about.

Granted, i know how to clean stuff on my own, im not that incompetent. But cooking is a whole different beast compared to anything i've done priorly. Cooking is not easy, you cant just learn it in two days and be set for life, its an art in of itself, and as the people here would know, im no artist.

But there is something i can do to prevent that kind of future, something that many wouldn't dare do. Learning

Thats what happened today, or well a few days back. When i asked my mom if she could teach me how to cook, but the first lesson started today, with some homebaked bread. While it seems a bit daunting at first having to cook for your entire family the first day you try to learn how to cook (in this case bake but shush) "Oh if i fail everyone will hate me, they will starve due to not wanting to eat burnt bread and i will never be able to cook!". Or something less exagerated, but i didnt have much to fear since i had my trusty ma to be there with me guiding me on waht i had to do :), although i did struggle a bit when she left to do other stuff that isnt particularly bad, its only bad if after a while i still need to have my ma helping me not make a mess.

The bread though, what about the bread? It tastes good, way better than the ones you get at stores but thats a low bar, family hasnt said much currently since at the time the bread were ready, they were ready to sleep

And so, thats how i, Lemerks Merk Merkington managed to make bread, so yeah learning to cook is good, if you havent already, do so. Merkington out...

BREAD UPDATE (15/11/2025)

Passed a bit since the blog post, family ate bread and they all said my bread was really good, dad was specially proud of me, even crowning me "The family breadmaker". Thats a nice title if you ask me. So the experiment of doing bread is a total success! Alright, end of blog post.

Silly you, thinking i'd let you go two blog posts without anything regarding my modding carreer? You are quite foolish arent you?

Ok time to set things straight, for a while i havent had motivation, could be school making me feel like hot ASS, could be because i would procrastinate when doing schoolwork, instead of doing it prompting me to not work on maps too, or could be because im just a lazy ass. However the case may be, im back, somewhat. Currently working on updating Westopolis from ZE2 as i've had several issues with the map i've wanted to fix, but held off until now since its gonna get removed if no changes get made.

The gif up there is not the only part i've done for this, theres also this.

New side gameplay for the newly added "Button that makes the platform go away", big wip and gameplay could be changed later, but its a nice starter. Hopefully bypigs lieks what im doin, hopefully.

Also even though i usually release these type of stuff on my site, this map aint mine, and this map is from a non reusable mod. So sorry guys :(
